5Incredible
By L. Mcconnell
Have only had it a week, but it is everything it says it is plus a lot more. I would rate it at 10 stars if I could. Instructions say it is very easy to assemble yourself, but I elected to have the local bike shop do it for $50.00 that way they could also make any adjustments that were necessary. If you look in the dictionary under "Fun" you will see a picture of this bike. I love it

5Great features and fun.

I bought mine several months ago. It is so much fun to exercise now.
You have a choice of motor assisted pedaling or just throttle alone.
I also looked at Pedego bikes for a little less money. It was worth
spending a little more for the advanced features of the Zuma. Great disc brakes!
Super comfortable upright riding position. I also like the functional rear rack.

We rented a couple of Zumas at the beach and within 10 minutes we were considering a purchase. You do have the option of pedaling, pedaling with motor assist or motor power only. I had visions of getting exercise but the motor is so much fun I seldom pedal. I had a friend clock me and it tops out at 20mph as advertised. I haven't tested the distance per charge so I cannot comment on that. I do like the relaxed upright riding position. No need to be hunched over to gain power since the bike helps you up hills. There is a very steep hill near my home. Too steep for the motor alone to power up but I don't need to stand up and labor like I do on a regular bike. I can tackle this hill sitting comfortably and lend assistance to the bike. Too cool. It's better than a motor bike because you don't need a license, registration or insurance. And best of all you can enjoy a nice ride without engine noise. The breaks can get a bit noisy at times but not too bad. Oh, one more thing... If you plan to take your bikes someplace on a bike rack you will need a really heavy duty one. These puppies are a bit heavy. We had to sell our regular Thule bike rack and get their heavy cradle type one. So far I would say I have no regrets about purchasing our two Zumas.
